Nabora Customer Terms
These terms cover using naboralocal.com to find and claim local offers. Nabora ("we," "us") is an early local-offers site for independent shops in Aurora, Colorado and the surrounding area, run by Nabora (Zack Miller, sole proprietor), Aurora, Colorado. By claiming or using a code, you agree to these terms. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle information.
1. How claiming works
- Find an offer on naboralocal.com.
- Tap Claim this deal. Nabora's code service gives you a referral code and shows when it expires.
- Your code is also saved under My offers in this browser, with its expiry date, so you can find it again on this device.
- Show the code at the shop. The shop redeems it in its shop portal and doesn't need to take your phone.
Claiming is free. Nabora never asks you to pay.
Checking a code: anyone can type a code into Check a code on the home page to see whether it's valid, unused, and unexpired, and which offer it's for. Checking a code doesn't use it up. Only the shop can redeem a code, in its shop portal.
Keep your code to yourself. "My offers" lives only in the browser you claimed on, so it's a good idea to screenshot or write down your code. But keep it private: anyone who has your code can check it and see which offer it's for.
2. Each code works once, and claims are limited
Each code can be redeemed one time only. Once a shop redeems it, it's used up.
- One code per deal per browser. If you tap Claim again on the same device and browser, you'll see the code you already have.
- Daily limit per connection. Each internet connection can claim the same deal up to 3 times a day. This stops people from collecting lots of codes. If several people share a connection (for example, at home or work), they share this limit. If you hit it, try again the next day.
- An offer can end at any time, for example if the shop pauses or leaves.
3. When codes expire
Codes expire 30 days after you claim them, unless the shop's fine print says otherwise (for example, an earlier end date). The expiry date is shown when you claim the code and under My offers. Shops can't redeem an expired code.
4. The shop makes the offer and honors it
- Each shop writes its own offer and fine print. Read the fine print before you go.
- The shop is responsible for honoring its offer, following its fine print, when you show a valid, unused, unexpired code.
- Nabora reviews offers before they go live, but the offer is the shop's, not Nabora's.
- Nabora isn't the seller. When you use a code, you're buying from the shop. Nabora isn't part of the sale and doesn't handle payments. Questions about products, services, prices, quality, refunds, or taxes go to the shop.
5. If a shop pauses or leaves
Under our Pilot Terms, shops agree to honor their offers for customers with a valid, unused code. They're also asked to keep honoring codes that were already claimed for at least 14 days after they pause or leave the pilot, unless their own fine print says otherwise.
That's what shops agree to. It isn't a promise or guarantee from Nabora. Nabora can't guarantee that a shop will honor any code. If you have trouble using a valid code, contact us and we'll try to help.
6. No cash value, no resale
- Codes have no cash value and can't be exchanged for cash.
- Codes can't be sold, traded, or bought.
7. Fair use
Please don't:
- Make fake or altered codes, or try to guess codes (including by running lots of checks)
- Use bots, scripts, or other automated tools to claim or check codes
- Get around the claim limits (for example, by switching browsers or connections to collect lots of codes)
- Try to use a code that's already been redeemed or has expired
- Try to get into the shop portal or use a shop's shop token without permission
- Interfere with the site or the code service
If we see misuse, we may cancel the codes involved and block access to the site.
8. The site is provided "as is"
Nabora is an early site and may sometimes be unavailable, slow, or change. Offers can be added, edited, paused, or removed. We provide the site and code service "as is," without promises that it will always work or be error-free.
To the extent the law allows, Nabora isn't responsible for the shop's products or services, or for losses from using the site or an offer.
9. Age
You must be at least 18 to claim a code. Some offers may have their own age rules in the shop's fine print.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. Codes you already claimed follow the terms that were in place when you claimed them.
