Nabora pilot terms

Plain-language terms for shops in the Nabora pilot

Draft — not legal advice; have a lawyer review before relying on it.

Version 2026-10-07-draft-3 · Last updated October 7, 2026

These terms are for a business (“you”) taking part in the Nabora pilot. Nabora (“we”) is an early local-offers website at naboralocal.com for Aurora and the surrounding area. We list offers from local shops, and customers get a Nabora code to show at the shop.

1. The pilot is free

The free pilot runs through January 21, 2027 for all shops. There’s no upfront cost, no fee per code, and no minimum term.

Before any paid plan starts, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ written notice (email counts). Nothing is charged unless you agree to it, and if you don’t want a paid plan you can simply leave. We haven’t set prices for after the pilot, and nothing in these terms promises any particular price or discount.

Founding partners. Shops in the pilot are Nabora founding partners. While your offer is live, it shows a Founding Partner badge and is listed ahead of other offers, at no cost. This is a listing perk, not a promise about future pricing, and Nabora may change how listings are ordered later.

2. You choose your offer, and you honor it

3. Codes and your shop token

When a customer shows a code, check and redeem it in the shop portal. Each code works once, and codes expire 30 days after the customer claims them unless your fine print says otherwise. The shop portal won’t redeem an expired code. Your shop token works like a password, so keep it private. If you think someone else has it, tell us and we’ll issue a new one.

4. Your responsibilities

You’re responsible for your own offer and business: your products and services, prices, any taxes (including how a discount affects sales tax), licenses, and following the laws that apply to your business and your promotions. Nabora isn’t part of your sale and doesn’t handle payments.

5. What Nabora does and doesn’t promise

We’ll show your approved offer on naboralocal.com and do our best to keep the site and code service working. This is an early pilot, so we can’t guarantee any number of customers, visits, or sales, and the site may sometimes be unavailable or change. The pilot is provided “as is.”

6. Listings can be edited, paused, or removed

Nabora may decline, pause, or remove any listing at any time, for example if an offer is unclear, misleading, or inappropriate, or if customers report problems. We may also adjust formatting so listings look consistent. We’ll try to tell you why.

7. Either side can end it anytime

You or Nabora can end your participation at any time, for any reason, by telling the other (email or text is fine). You can also pause your offer yourself in the shop portal. When you leave, we take your listing down.

8. Your business name and information

You let Nabora show your business name, offer, and the details you submit on naboralocal.com while your listing is live. We keep the contact details you give us, your offer, and code counts, and we use them only to run the pilot and talk with you. We don’t sell them. We keep shop records while your shop is active plus 12 months, and you can ask us to delete your information at any time. See our privacy policy.

9. Limits

To the extent the law allows, Nabora isn’t responsible for lost profits or indirect losses connected with the pilot, and each side is responsible for its own actions.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms during the pilot. We’ll tell you about important changes, and if you don’t agree, you can leave the pilot.
